  • Breads were eventially eliminated towards the end of 2014 as we become increasingly aware of gluten intollerence issues and its effects on weight loss.

  • Between 2013 and 2014 Fats were pretty low and carbs were relatively high, fried vegetables and roast sweet potato were a staple.

  • Soft drinks were gradually reduced with a daily reduction of one can per day (used to be 5 or more) the process took some time with many binge soft drinks spoiling my results.

  • late at night I would enjoy yogurt and it replaced many snacks as well to keep me from binge eating.

  • I started reducing takeaway foods considerably but battled food cravings for fish and chips and gave in many times in the first 2 years.

  • Wheatbix was still consumed a lot from 2013-2014 till I took gluten intollerences to heart along wth eating too many carbs as I used to use lots of honey to flavor them.

  • Most milks were switched to soy or rice milk as we remoced even more things from the diet.

  • Pastrys and other processed foods were removed

  • deserts were reserved for birthdays or cheat days as we started to learn about adding in a weekly cheat day for sanity reasons.

This section is an exerp from my book!
